• Subversive Print Textiles • - Here are a selection of patterns designed on a two year project looking at
subverting normal print textile subjects and illustrating current affairs in patterns.
Designs that at first glance may seem beautiful will have another
meaning or message hidden inside. 
- • Pretty Spoiled •
Representing our over consumption of natural resources. 
- • Pretty Drunk •A cheeky rebellion against revival of vintage 1950's textiles with saccharine subject matter.
- • Pretty Blind •This pattern was based on the true story of an American blind man being granted a gun license.Find all of the hidden ducks...
- • Pretty Skint •A comment on the easy availability of credit cards, loans and loan sharks at the time.
- • Pretty Brainwashed •Questioning the health impacts from our continual reliance on electrical goods.
- • Pretty Boring Washing Up •Day dreaming about Olympic swimmers in my washing up bowl.
- • Pretty Bad Food •Perhaps we should be more aware of what we are eating and where it is from.
- • Pretty Dangerous •A pattern made from all of the items you are not allowed to take on an airplane.
I thought that this would make a great pattern to go on luggage.
